Position Title: Specialist, Analytics & Reporting

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:
Provide Business Intelligence, Analytics & Reporting services across Ma’aden affiliates

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
  2. Strong concepts and hands-on experience of data warehousing, dimensional data modelling, ETL development and analytical dashboards & reports
  3. Good exposure to Oracle and Microsoft BI technology (OBIEE, OBIA, MS SSIS+RS+AS)
  4. Experience using any reputable ETL tool, preferably Informatica or ODI
  5. Experience using data visualization tools e.g. MS Power BI, Oracle DV, QlikView or Tableau
  6. Exposure to ERP systems and business flows, preferably Oracle EBS
  7. Strong business acumen & English language

 

Experience:

  1. Minimum 7 years of overall Software industry experience
  2. Minimum 5 years of healthy experience in Business Intelligence domain specifically

COMPETENCIES:

The candidate should have extensive experience of managing teams, end-to-end management of serverice automation, service delivery & operational support

Certification in BI Technology, Data warehousing will be a plus.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Description

  • Execute departmental strategy and roadmap, aligned with ICT strategy and Ma’aden’s strategic business objectives
  • Business analysis to gather BI requirements and correlate them to formulate a robust, scalable and performance efficient solution
  • Work with Enterprise Architect to implement and improve Data Modeling, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence standards and approach
  • Establish a Ma’aden-wide Business Intelligence platform for Operational, Tactical and Strategic/Enterprise-wide reporting and analytics
  • Use dimensional modelling technique to develop data marts in the DWH and use ETL tools to load the OLAP system; Build a unified data consumption layer across Ma’aden (Logical Data Warehouse/Semantic Layer), implementing the latest data warehousing concepts and techniques
  • Effectively use selected tools for data discovery, visualization, mobile reporting, data warehousing, data virtualization and ETL (Extract, Transform and Load)
  • Facilitate and train Data Owners & Data Analysts to use Self-Service BI and data visualization tools
  • Ensure that the incidents and service requests are entertained as per the agreed service levels with the internal customers
  • Execute ‘Run & Maintain’ and administrative activities for Business Intelligence solutions
  • Oversee Business Intelligence implementation projects to manage priorities, dependencies, consistency and overall scope
  • Prepare configurational documentation and training manuals for developed solutions
  • Adhere to ICT Demand Management & PMO processes to ensure that customer demands are appropriately handled and timely delivered with customer satisfaction
  • Enforce adherence to Maaden Safety, Ma’aden ICT-SS and Ma’aden Information Security policies
