The position is responsible for overseeing the MWSPC’s plant production performance and interacting with all plant personnel to identify and manage asset reliability and production risks that could adversely affect the plant operations, achieving production capacity and profitability.

Position Summary
The Chemical Engineer trainee under the direction of the Production Engineer will be exposed to all operations and processes of the Sulfuric Acid Plant. The work is project-orientated and will be working on a number of projects, all at various different stages, at any given time.

    Position Summary:
    This position is qualified to operate all field areas and the Distributed Control Systems (DCS). In addition this position is recognized for its extensive technical knowledge of the plant being operated. Provide guidance and assistance with trouble shooting in the plant; provide guidance and training to Field Operator-1 and Field Operator-2 Trainee and to function as an effective interface between the Field & Control Operators and the Shift Supervisor to enable all jobs allocated to the field to be executed timely and efficiently. This position may be called upon to fill any role on the shift and may also fill in for the Shift Supervisor.

Organizes one-on-one training as necessary, for specific equipment or procedures and specific individuals, on a case-by-case basis.
Interfaces with the central Training Department on workforce development issues and Saudization. Coordinates training requirements with First Line Supervisors.
Minimum Education:

6. Engineer

The Engineer (Power) plans and directs and controls the electrical power generation and the electrical reticulation activities to maximize the cost effectiveness. 4. Loss Prevention Coordinator

Within the assigned plant, ensures the quality implementation of all MWSPC Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures. Ensure staff and operation personnel are fully trained and competent in all areas in workplace safety, health hazards, use of protective equipment, and proper use of plant equipment to prevent employee injuries and unsafe procedures. Develop and provide technical and administrative direction on HSE issues, which will directly impact MWSPC objectives, operations, and the achievement of its mission and values.
Interfaces with the MWSPC’s HSE&S Department on workforce safety issues. Coordinates training requirements with First Line Supervisors.
Minimum Education:
BS degree in a Physical Science, Industrial Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene, Biology, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
Experience and Qualifications:
8-10 years of Plant Operations and Supervisory experience in the fertilizer or chemical industry, preference for experience in the same plant, to be assigned. Certified Safety Manager (CSM), a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).”
